BRIEF FACTS
On 28.09.2023, a PCR call regarding robbery of one Gold Chain and a mobile phone at H.No. 240/C, Gali No.6, Jwala Nagar, Shahdara was received in the area of P.S. Vivek Vihar.
Complainant Mrs. Sandhya Devi w/o. Late Shripal Yadav R/o H. No. 240, Gali No.6, Jawala Nagar, Shahdara, Delhi Age 60 Years stated that in the morning of 28/09/23, she was busy in cleaning of her house. Suddenly two boys came from back side and entered her house. They showed her weapon and tried to strangulate her with gold chain. They robbed her chain and mobile phone. Thereafter, they ran away from the spot. Accordingly, a Case FIR No. 360/23 U/s 394/397/ 34 IPC, PS Vivek Vihar was registered, and investigation was taken up.
TEAM
Keeping in view the sensitivity and gravity of the case, the team of Special Staff, Shahdara District was tasked to Crack the case. A team led by Insp. Vikas Kumar comprising of SI Prashant, ASI Naseem Nabi, ASI Sanjeev, ASI Abhimanyu, ASI Parmod, HC Manoj (CDR Section), HC Sarvesh, HC Rajesh, HC Siddharth, HC Rajeev, HC Rakesh, HC Akram & Ct. Lovepreet under the close supervision of Shri Gurudev Singh ACP/Operations was constituted.
TECHNICAL ANALYSIS, RAID & ARREST
The team worked very hard, and the meticulous hard work bore results. Working on technical angle, the team minutely analyzed the CCTV Footages in the vicinity of the scene of crime and two persons were seen who robbed the victim and ran away on bike. Further, the team mapped the entry and exit route of criminals. More than 100 CCTV Cameras were checked within a radius of 38 kilometers in a very short span of time.
Finally, the team spotted the bike near Village-Ilaichipur adjoining Tronica City, District-Ghaziabad, U.P. It was found that the bike had fake number plate. On further enquiry, it came to know that the bike was stolen from the area of P.S. Welcome on 11/09/23.
Thereafter, the team took the help of Criminal Dossier system of Delhi Police and secret informers. The team collected more than 100 dossiers of all the criminals of same Modus Operandi who are active in Trans Yamuna area. Finally, the team succeeded in establishing the identity of the accused persons. Then, working in the traditional manner, the local informers were put at task to find out the whereabouts of the accused persons. Further, it came to know that accused persons are habitual criminals and they did not stay at one place for long time. Hence, it was big challenge for team to apprehend them so quickly. The team laid a trap at all whereabouts of accused persons.
By working continuously for 24 hours with devotion and enthusiasm, the team succeeded in apprehending accused Wasim from the area of Shastri Park, North East District and Jishan from Jhuggi, near Iron Bridge, Gandhi Nagar.
INTERROGATION:
During interrogation, accused Wasim disclosed that he is BC of P.S. Shastri Park area. He further disclosed that his brother Naseem @ Anna and Ajmat are also BC of P.S. Shastri Park. He lives his livelihood by the way of crime only. Most of his family members are criminals. He does crime for easy money.
Both the accused persons disclosed that they are also smack addict and they do crime after consuming smack. They further disclosed that they use to steal the bike and change its number plate for doing crime to mislead the police. In the present case, they also steal bike from the area of P.S. Welcome and changed its number plate. They further disclosed that they commit robbery/snatching of gold chain and mobile phones on regular basis in trans Yamuna area. Their involvement in other cases is being verified.
PROFILE OF ACCUSED ARRESTED: –
1. Waseem S/o Hasmat Ali R/o H. No. D-545, Buland Masjid, Shastri Park, Seelampur, Shashtri Park, Delhi aged 31 Years. He is previously found involved in 25 cases of Attempt to Murder, Robbery, Snatching, Theft, Arms Act etc in different polices stations of Shahdara, North East, East District of Delhi and Ghaziabad District of UP. He is BC of P.S. Shastri Park. His brother Naseem @ Anna is also BC of P.S. Shastri Park who was arrested by Special Staff, Shahdara District during an encounter in 2022. He was bailed out on 23/06/23.
2. Jheeshan Kureshi S/o. Mustkeen R/o. Th- 74 Kailash Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, Soniya Gandhi Camp, Delhi aged 28 years. He is previously found involved in 02 cases of Robbery of P.S. Jafrabad and New Usmanpur, Delhi. He was bailed out on 18/05/23.
RECOVERY: –
1. One Country made pistol with 02 live cartridges used in the commission of crime.
2. One TVS Apache Black Color Motorcycle No. DL-5SCP-9506, stolen from the area of PS Welcome vide FIR no. 027354 dated 11.09.23 used in the commission of crime
3. Fake Number plate of Bike regd. no. DL-5-SCT-9547 which was used in the commission of crime
4. Rs, 3800/- received after sale of robbed mobile phone.
5. 02 Helmet, Shoes, clothes worn at the time of incident.
